List of Current Needs

The following list is provided for persons interested in supporting A Place for Hope through monetary or in-kind donations. All materials and monies will be used to support the Blackmon Road community. As a fully recognized 501 (C) (3) all donations are tax-deductible.

Donations can be dropped of during regular center hours.  Please leave donations with a center representative.

1. Annual funding for “Proud To Be me” Summer Camp and After School Youth Programming - $5,000 for 5 years ($25,000).
2. Purchase and Insurance of a Regulation-Compliant Mini-Bus ($40,000).
3. Design and construction of a new activity center with an open area for indoor recreation and a quiet area for computer use and study ($60,000).
4. Contributions to our Capital Campaign to complete Phase II extension of water and sewer lines to resident homes throughout the community ($1,000,000) and Phase III housing rehabilitation and new affordable housing for residents in the community ($600,000).
5. Street Lights and Removal of dilapidated structures and enforcement of Nuisance Violations in the community
